2014 Revolver Golden Gods Winners


     The Revolver Golden Gods Awards took place Wednesday night (April 23) at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, where rock and metal acts were honored for their talents and achievements.
The night featured performances by Slayer, who opened the show with a surprise gig, A Day To Remember, The Pretty Reckless, Suicide Silence, Joan Jett and Guns N’ Roses. And throughout the evening, various awards were handed out.
As was announced prior to the show, Joan Jett received the Golden God Award while Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose received the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award.

2013 Revolver Golden Gods Winners


     The Fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods award show took place in Los Angeles. The night found Anthrax performing with Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown, The Dillinger Escape Plan perform a Depeche Mode cover with Deftones’ Chino Moreno, Halestorm cover Led Zeppelin with David Draiman, Five Finger Death Punch play with Rob Halford and Rob Zombie, Stone Sour joined by Corey Taylor and Jim Root’s Slipknot bandmates for a percussion-heavy Black Sabbath cover, Danzig perform a few Misfits classics with Doyle Von Frankenstein, and a set from some garage band out of San Francisco (who were also joined onstage by Halford).
